Know your suppliers the way you know your numbers

CSRD wants value-chain disclosures. CSDDD wants due diligence. Banks want transition plans. Certigence gives you one place to meet all three without 400 supplier questionnaires.

From a supplier list to an audit-ready program

  • Supplier register: Register suppliers with org number, country and category — linked to their Certigence ESG profile where one exists.
  • Risk-based prioritisation: Classify each supplier from low to critical risk so engagement effort follows risk — focus on the 80/20 first.
  • Shared supplier profiles: Shared profiles reduce redundant questionnaires — a supplier's claimed profile serves all its buyers.
  • Controversy monitoring: Ongoing news monitoring surfaces controversies at suppliers with linked Certigence profiles.

Supply chain

  • Risk — Levels per supplier, low to critical — Follow the risk, not the contract
  • ESRS S2 — Value-chain workers coverage — Due-diligence workflows built in
  • Portal — Supplier data requests — Invite suppliers to submit assessments
  • 1 — Register of all your suppliers — Linked to Certigence ESG profiles

Value-chain disclosures — done properly

Most CSRD filings wave at value-chain impacts with estimates. Certigence lets you report the real shape of your supply chain, with evidence per supplier relationship.

  • Carbon accounting links supplier emissions into your Scope 3 picture.
  • Social and governance signals per linked supplier profile.
  • Controversy flags surface where a supplier needs follow-up.
  • AI-assisted drafting turns supplier evidence into disclosure narratives.

Turn due diligence from a headache into a system

Due-diligence expectations apply across your value chain. Certigence helps you structure and document a risk-based process.

  • Stage 1: risk identification across your supplier register.
  • Stage 2: prioritised engagement with high-risk suppliers.
  • Stage 3: remediation plans with deadlines and owners.
  • Stage 4: report on outcomes with structured exports.

From supplier list to due-diligence evidence

  • Register suppliers: Add your suppliers and link them to existing Certigence profiles.
  • Prioritise: Set risk levels by country, sector and category so effort follows risk.
  • Engage: Invite suppliers to the portal to submit assessment data directly.
  • Disclose: Use supplier data in your CSRD value-chain disclosures and due-diligence reporting.

FAQ

Do we need to send questionnaires to all 400 suppliers?

No. Risk levels let you focus engagement on the small share of high-risk suppliers, which is exactly the risk-based approach due-diligence rules expect.

Can we import data from Ecovadis, Sedex or IntegrityNext?

Not natively today. Suppliers are added in Certigence or invited to the supplier portal to submit their own data, and the supplier list exports to CSV. Talk to us if you need a bulk load.

How do we handle suppliers that refuse to engage?

Non-response is itself evidence. Track engagement attempts and follow-up actions per supplier so your process is documented.
